SDG Action Days 2022

The SDG Action Days is a Dutch event about the SDGs. The SDG Action Days 2022 will run from September 23 up to September 27. This year's theme is 'Turn it Around', because it's time for a turnaround! In the context of the Action Days the municipality of The Hague will raise the SDG-flag on September 23rd.

During the weekend, all local and regional partners of SDG Nederland organize an action-oriented program at more than 25 locations throughout the country. Various events are also taking place in The Hague.

Movie 'Duty of Care' - September 23 at The Humanity Hub

6:30 p.m. – 10:30 p.m.
Program

As part of SDG Action Day, The Hague Humanity Hub and Movies That Matter will be screening Nic Balthazar’s acclaimed film ‘Duty of Care’, with discussions on climate action, and a Q&A session.

Duty of Care tells the exclusive, inside story of Roger Cox, the first and only lawyer to have successfully sued a government and an oil giant in landmark court cases that established catastrophic climate change can be made illegal.

SDG City Trip: The Goals Come To You - September 25 at the Museon

11:00 p.m.
Program

The SDG-bus will visit Museon. In addition, artwork Doppie (by Kai, age 9) will also take place in the One Planet Expo. Doppie raises awareness in schools about the plastic problem.

12:00 p.m. – 03:30 p.m. for children aged 8 to 14 years
Program

Bring your own broken, worn or old toys and discover how you can contribute to a liveable planet based on the Sustainable Development Goals. There are makers on hand with knowledge of electronics, mechanics and robotics who can help repair your toys and build your solution. If it is beyond repair, new toys can be made with parts from broken toys.

Please note: bring your own old or broken (electronic) toys!
